# How Do I Change My Username on Web

Learn how to change your username on web

You can change your username anytime. When choosing a username this should be a single word or nickname and should follow community guidelines and not be offensive to other users.

* * *

1.  Open the side menu
    
2.  Click on your profile to open the **profile menu**

3.  Click the ⚙️ (gear) icon in the top right of the **profile menu** to open the [**Settings**](https://app.shiken.ai/users/edit?) menu

4.  Update your **name** in the box
